Abhisht is a Sanskrit word which means 'desired' or 'wanted'. We aim to bring the underprivileged sections, especially those who are differently abled, into the mainstream of society. We strive towards providing much needed facilities, opportunities and spaces for PWDs (persons with disabilities) and their families. We are committed to working for the upliftment of the vulnerable members of our society, who have been sidelined from the normal world. Through awareness and sensitization drives; community support and counselling initiatives and skill training camps among a host of other services, we have dedicated ourselves to being a voice for the invisible.

Abhisht Charitable Trust was formed on 26 Oct 2022 (Trust No: 1082215034)

ABHISHT AWARE (Awareness and Outreach)

Through meet-ups, camps, talks and roadshows, Abhisht drives awareness about various forms of disabilities, helps parents in early identification and hand holds them through the next steps of diagnosis, formal therapy and rehabilitation services. We also take up need-based social causes that affect other underprivileged sections of the society such as slum dwellers, elderly, destitute women and so on.

Initially known as 'Beautiful Mothers', we have now partnered with the nationwide NGO - Nayi Disha to enable parents to connect and feel a part of a shared community. We also counsel parents from several countries and direct them to appropriate rehabilitation services.
